Short description of the organization (max 12 lines): Federal State Unitary Enterprise “TURBONASOS” is a modern, steadily developing, research-and-production enterprise. It includes design, production and experiment units jointed by common production and technical cycle. At present Russian Federal Space Agency has assigned to “TURBONASOS” designing, producing, testing and servicing pumps, turbines and power systems for space-system engineering and its basic industry branches. Nowadays “TURBONASOS” is engineering, testing pre-production models and producing on repetition work base the following equipment:
turbo-pump units for liquid-fuel rockets; special pumps for water-craft and warships; hydraulic, steam and gas turbine; turbo-pump units for pumping different kinds of medium; gas ejectors; level and vertical electric pump units for pumping aggressive, abrasive, neutral medium, oil and oil products and other liquids; automated pumping stations and systems based on multiphase pumps, chemical pumps, slurry pumps, est.; automated modular turbo-expander gas turbine electric power stations; ozone plants, water and gas treatment systems; locking and regulating equipment.
Quantum of output for Russian Federal Space Agency and Ministry of Defence comes to 10%. Quantum of output for ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy plants, enterprises of fuel and energy complex, producers of chemical fertilizers, est. comes to 90%.
Expertise offered Nowadays gas cleaning is carried out for further use of the gas itself or the admixture contained in it, and also for protection of the air from harmful substances pollution. In view of correct engineering process and correct organisation of production the developed methods of gas cleaning allow emitting the gases which are practically not containing harmful substances.
Hard (solid) dirt in industrial gases is shattered by way of dust or smoke. The size of dust particles is from hundreds micromicron to submicromicron; the size of smoke particles is usually less then 1 micromicron but sometimes it can reach 2 or 3 micromicrons. However industrial gases can contain also nanolevel particles (to thousand of a micron) of rare and precious materials which are not extracted now.
In metallurgical production, while fusing nonferrous metals, the alternating current arc is applied. The temperature of some zones of the electric arc fluctuates in limits from 2000 to 8000°С and at the external surface of the arc it can be nearby 3000°С on average. At melting, conditions for evaporation of metals in the melt zone directly contacting to the arch are created. Irregular burning of the alternating current arc with its frequent fading, intensive isolation of carbon oxide from the melt, that can have the character of micro explosions in near-electrode zone, promote the direct contact of the high-temperature zone of the molten pool, which is near the arc, with the gas space of furnace. It contributes to moving evaporated metals (so-called «sublimate») off the molten pool.
The metals, which have passed in the vapor phase, are oxidized partially by the oxygen that is contained in the air imbibed into furnace. At the lack of crystallisation centres in the gas flow, metals and oxides are either condensed to fine-dyspersated phase (often of submicronic level) or remain as gases in elementary or molecular form. Such metals cannot be caught by a set fume-cleaning plant and are emitted into the atmosphere through a gas flue.
New technology of ore dressing and industrial gas treating is supposed to solve the problem of recovery of nanolevel particles of nonferrous metals (especially precious) from «sublimate».
The method essence is in the following. At the first stage industrial gases are purified of the particles of about 10 micromicron by means of known ways of gas cleaning. At the second stage the new technology of cleaning and simultaneously metal dressing with the use of a gas centrifuge is applied. The gas centrifuge of vortical type is a cylindrical case with special ledges evenly placed around for formation of vortexes. In vortical zone conditions for concentration and coagulation of nanolevel particles are created. The basic division is carried out in a working zone of the gas centrifuge. The cleaned gas is taken away through an outlet fitting, nanolevel particles precipitate in the gas centrifuge bunker. Efficiency of cleaning reaches 99 %. The gas centrifuge bunker is equipped with tight dust shutters. The shutters are fixed in the closed position with the lever motion with the screw strainer. Material for the gas centrifuge case is titan.
Now in Russia and abroad the nanomolecula level technology of extraction of non-ferrous metals and precious metals from outgoing «sublimate» of metallurgical production is not mastered yet.
