Short description of the organization (max 12 lines): Ryazan state radioengineering university( RSREU), a state institution of higher vocational education, was founded in 1951 and nowadays serves as an important specialized scientific and educational system. The university has available modern scientific and educational basis. Department branches can be found on the basis of industrial enterprises, scientific research institutes, design offices. Research and development projects are actively carried out at the university, it functions as head organisation in a number of scientific engineering research programs in Russia.
Expertise offered The project realization will include several steps:
  1. Development of plasma-chemical silicon purification experimental plant;
  2. Investigation of various silicon melting methods, and optimal method choosing;
  3. Investigation of various plasma production methods, and plasma-forming component structure development;
  4. Investigation of various ratios of plasma-forming gas and active gases, and their composition optimization;
  5. Investigation of various silicon treatment modes;
  6. Development of experimental silicon purification technology;
  7. Production and investigation of silicon prototypes.
All works are to carried out together with your company and partners. The result of the work will be plasma-chemical technology of metallurgical-grade silicon purification to obtain solar-grade silicon (the basic material content is 99,9999 %), that is an alternative to the widely used Siemens-process.
