Short description of the organization (max 12 lines): Ryazan state radioengineering university( RSREU), a state institution of higher vocational education, was founded in 1951 and nowadays serves as an important specialized scientific and educational system. The university has available modern scientific and educational basis. Department branches can be found on the basis of industrial enterprises, scientific research institutes, design offices. Research and development projects are actively carried out at the university, it functions as head organisation in a number of scientific engineering research programs in Russia.
Expertise offered The project realization will include several steps:
  1. Development of mathematical model poly- and monocrystalline silicon solar cells.
  2. Creation of mathematical model of solar cell production process.
  3. Development of mathematical model of a PV module.
  4. Modeling data verification by production of solar cells and a PV module, and by measuring their parameters and specifications.
Works 1,3 can be carried out by the university, and the works 2,4 are to be jointly made. The work implementation result will be a complex mathematical model of a PV module that includes all major parameters of the module construction (glass transmission ratio, its thickness, bus bar resistance, bypass diode parameters) as well as solar cell construction (wafer thickness, doping level, conductive grid geometry and resistance, doping profile and others). The developed model will allow to determine the doping process parameters, which provides an optimal doping profile where maximum solar cell efficiency is achieved.

Previous participation in EU’s Framework Programme projects
