Short description of the organization (max 12 lines): Astrakhan state university (ASU) was founded in 1932. Now it is known as one of the largest multi-purpose educational institutions in the Caspian region. Astrakhan state university has old traditions of academic activity and it is one of the most quickly modernising universities in Russia. Many scientists working at the university are widely known not only in Russia, but also abroad thanks to their serious contribution to various spheres of science. ASU is classical university which realizes researches and student's training in most sections of modern science including physics and mathematics, information and comunication technologies, socio-economic sciences and humanities, jurisprudence, history, biology, food, agriculture and fisheries, biotechnology, environment and security, nanosciences, etc. Chair of General Physics is specialized in the area of optical and electronic devices construction for the management systems of technological and biophysical processes.
Expertise offered Our staff has scientific experience to analyze and determine efficient characteristics of the elements of biocybernatic systems for management of some biological objects on biophysical basis. Among other things, on the basis of information criteria of optical and electronic devices quality we elaborated an estimation method for optimal characteristics of overwater and submarine selective light sources to control behaviour of fish of different ecological groups taking into account the conditions light passes through aquatic medium and polarization effects on the “air-water” border, we estimated energetic characteristics of selective electromagnetic emitters to control some insect classes for anti-gnat protection and combat of agriculture blasts. To make more exact estimation of optimal characteristics of elements of biocybernatic systems, it is necessary to carry out experiments giving adequate information on biophysical peculiarities of receptor systems of control objects, as well as on indices how electromagnetic radiation of ultraviolet, visible and infrared bands passes through the Earth atmosphere and aquatic medium.
