Expertise offered The project considers the development of filtering elements on the basis of carbon nanomaterial (multilayered carbon nanotubes), industrial production of which is mastered on Ltd. "NanoTechCenter" (Russia, Tambov) under trade mark "Тaunit". Carbon nanomaterials allow to improve comparative parameters of filtering elements due to the unique properties of nanosized materials: the advanced surface providing fine adsorption ability, high mechanical durability, wear resistance, ultrahigh heat-conducting and characteristics of electrical conductivity. The usage of carbon nanostructured materials as filtering membranes, sorbents and systems of complex clearing in porous carriers will allow to improve technical and economic parameters of liquid and gas environments cleaning (filtering subtlety, cleaning speed and efficiency, cost of a unit of the purified environment volume, etc.) . The sphere of application of the newly developed filters is very wide: from filtering highly polluted industrial gases and liquids up to membrane clearing of potable water.
Problems to be solved and results: Development and industrial production of the filtering elements modified by carbon nanomaterial "Тaunit", for the concrete consumers working in the sphere of filtering of gases and liquids It is possible and desirable to cooperate with institutes and enterprises working on similar subjects. for carrying out the further researches.
