Expertise offered The project is devoted to regular systems of oriented carbon nanotubes (CNT) preparation on special catalytic substrates for flat emission displays. Originality of the project is not a new method of CNT preparation (this method is already known), not using the catalysis, but using the catalytic matrix which is formed on substrate by means of sputtering, components and deposition regimes which allow to form nanoscale particles. Preparation of such substrate is complex and specific problem. In present there are only a few scientific groups in whole world which wield this technology. Nanotech Ltd includes staffers of investigation group which are experienced in this technology and they have been working with nanocomposites more than 10 years and therefore the applicant manages to realize this project. Such lead-up in regular systems CNT preparation is not using in present time. In 2006 the application for the patent had been tendered. Problems to be solved and results: The first step in the project is developing the technology and creation of pilot specimen of emission matrix for flat emission display. Competitors for the emission displays will be not from the analog products (there no such products in present) will be the existing TFT-LCD and PDP.
