Short description of the organization (max 12 lines): -
Expertise offered Our proposal could include fallowing possible collaboration points:
  • Composition, structure fabrication technology optimization of nanocomposites, thin single- and multilayer film coating, that are produced using CDV and PVD techniques especially by magnetron dispersion technique.
  • Atomic modeling of nanostructures, namely clusters, fullerene-based composite, nanocrystals, nonporous, thin films and other materials.
  • Development of new characterization techniques of nanostructured materials by means of nanoindentation and scrubbing concerning time dependent properties in particular.
  • Experimental studies of physical-mechanical properties of thin subsurface layers using electron and atomic force microscopy, X-ray structural analysis, nanoindentation and nanoscrubbing on a various scales ranging from atomic to nano- and to micro- scale. Local distributions at Young modulus, hardness, friction coefficient, inner stress, erosion and other characteristics of various components of nanostructures and their inner surface.

Problems to be solved and results: Complex multiscale approach along with mutually complement techniques would allow one to optimize nanomaterials and thin films properties, to develop new fabrication technologies and optimize existing ones that results in high efficient corrode-poet, antifriction, wear-proof and other materially having particular properties.
