Short description of the organization (max 12 lines):
Federal Budget scientific Establishment of the Russian Academy of Sciences Institute of social and economic development of territories (ISEDT RAS) was founded in 1990 as a department of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The Institute includes 4 scientific research departments and 4 laboratories, that implement research in the following fields: socio-economical problems of transformation of scientific and innovative performance of territories (Innovation economy department); the problems of economical growth, scientific framework of regional policy, sustainable development of territories and municipalities (department of socio-economical problems of development and administration of territorial systems); territorial characteristics of the standard of living and way of life, behavior strategies and ideology of different social groups of the Russian society (standard of living and way of life research department).
The project is targeted on development of methodological and theoretical social cohesion framework to determine its level in the stratified urban contexts and its influence on social and economical development of the European countries. Results generalization of the work will enable to offer recommendations and create special methods to realize social and innovative projects, that will increase the level of social cohesion in stratified urban contexts of the European countries (and also in Russia). During the project implementation it is planning to:
Identify the factors, that have the greatest impact on social cohesion;
Design the economico-statistics model of development of the social cohesion and determine its main parameters;
Build a changes forecast in the level of the social cohesion due to the modification of certain parameters;
Conduct a survey of the EU and Russian city citizens, to verify the factors that influence on the social cohesion.
Implement the package of practical projects to increase the level of the social cohesion;
Design special recommendations for effective development of socio oriented policy.
Universities, scientific research centers, social security organizations, schools, culture organizations are the required partners to achieve these aims. The requirements for the partner organizations and the executives:
Availability of scientific publications with the results of socio-economical researches for the period 2005-2011.
Desirable participation in grants and contests for implementation of scientific researches in the socio-economical field for the period 2005-2011
