Color in informatics and media technology (CIMET)

The CIMET consortium encourages mobility of all students and scholars. Each applicant must select among different curricula, corresponding to different specializations. Each curriculum defines the two institutions (compulsory minimum) that each student will visit and from which he/she will be graduating. The consortium will respect the students choice of mobility as much as possible.

If you are a graduate student from a "third country" (all countries of the world with the exception of the 27 EU Member States, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Croatia, Turkey and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia) you can apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship. These scholarships are awarded to the best students on a competitive basis.

The scholarship covers your travel and living expenses and tuition in Europe for the full duration of the course:

  • 1-year Course = 21,000 €
  • 2-year Course = 42,000 €
  • Course between 1 and 2 years = proportional amount between 21,000 € and 42,000 €

If you are a third country scholar specialist (Minimum level: PhD) in optics, image, color or media technology you can apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship. These scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis. The scholarship of 13,000 € for 3 months covers your travel and living expenses in Europe for the full duration of the course and are composed of:

  • 3 times 4000 € (monthly)
  • 1,000 € for travel expenses
